Session fees

Outcast Psychology uses a sliding‑scale fee structure. This is intended to support accessibility and sustainability together, so that therapy can be more reachable while also remaining viable for the people offering it.

All sessions (consultation and therapy) are offered at the same four bands:

  • £40

  • £70

  • £100

  • £130

The same service is offered at each band. The different fees reflect differences in people’s financial circumstances, not whether someone’s difficulties are “serious enough” to come to therapy.

If you are unsure which fee feels right for you, you can read more about how to choose your fee on the booking page, or mention this when you get in touch so it can be thought about together.

Why are fees set up this way?

Many private practices keep reduced‑fee work to a small number of spaces. Outcast Psychology is set up differently, with a clear fee structure designed so that reduced rates and industry standard rates sit alongside each other across the practice, rather than access being limited to a few places.

Our intention is to make therapy with a psychologist more financially realistic for a wider range of people, while also ensuring that therapists can stay well enough resourced to offer thoughtful, high‑quality work over time.
