Let's start a conversation that moves you forward.
Before you get in touch
We’re not an emergency or crisis service, so it’s important that you feel broadly safe enough to engage in this kind of support.
Please take a moment to check that the following feel true for you right now:
I do not feel in immediate danger or in an urgent crisis.
I am not currently planning to harm myself or others.
If my safety changes or I start to find it difficult to keep myself safe, I will contact my GP, NHS 111, attend my local A&E, or a crisis line such as Samaritans (116 123).
I understand that if serious concerns about my safety arise, the psychologist may need to let my GP or another relevant professional know to help keep me safe, and I agree to this as part of using the service.
By sending an enquiry, you’re letting us know that these statements feel broadly accurate for you at this time.
Let’s Work Together
Privacy and confidentiality
What you share in therapy with Outcast Psychology is confidential. We do not share what you tell us with other people without your permission, unless there is a serious concern about safety or we are legally required to do so.
There are a few limits to confidentiality. If we are seriously concerned that you or someone else is at immediate risk of harm, or if we are required to share information by law, we may need to pass on relevant information to another service or professional; wherever possible, we would talk this through with you first.
Like all registered psychologists, clinicians at Outcast Psychology use clinical supervision to support safe, ethical and effective practice. This is a confidential professional space, and identifying details are kept to a minimum.
We keep brief clinical notes and basic contact information so we can offer a safe and consistent service. Records are stored securely and handled in line with UK data protection requirements and HCPC expectations around confidentiality and record keeping.
If you would like more detail about how your information is stored, used or shared, this is set out in our full privacy notice and therapy agreement.
